Key Ingredients and Benefits:

Sodium Hyaluronate : Sodium Hyaluronate is one of the natural moisturizing factors (NMFs) found in the skin. Together with lipids, NMFs keep skin from losing water, maintaining skin’s young, smooth, non-flaky appearance. In fact, a 2000 study by Sakai et. found that a decrease in the lipid and NMF content of the skin leads to surface roughness, flaking, fine lines, and a tight, uncomfortable feeling. Natural NMFs maintain moisture in the skin, even under low humidity, and provide an optimal environment for enzymatic functions.
In skincare products, natural moisturizing factors are able to draw water into the skin, reducing trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. NMFs in skincare products also help to temporarily stabilize and maintain the complex intercellular-skin matrix, which is the “glue” that holds the skin together; this gives skin a smoother appearance.

Natto Gum: Natto is a Japanese ingredient made of soybeans that has incredible health and skin care benefits.

Here are all the naturally occurring enzymes, vitamins and amino acids found in natto:

Lecithin: Natto contains lecithin, which is a skin softening, conditioning and smoothing agent.
Vitamin E: Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and helps to prevent skin damage from free radicals, keeping your skin looking bright, young and healthy.
Vitamin K2: Natto is loaded with vitamin K2, which has been show in studies to help visibly prevent fine lines. In 2008, Korean researchers showed that a diet high in vitamin K2 led to smoother skin features in women.
Gamma Polyglutamic Acid (PGA): PGA, an amino acid that when used in skincare delivers some serious hydration. PGA is a real breakthrough in skincare science. It’s ten times more hydrating than hyaluronic acid and far more elastic than collagen.

Cucumber Extract : hydrating, soothing, calming

Vitamin E: high in antioxidants, skin moisturizing and skin healing properties

Watercress Extract : Watercress is rich in beta carotene, chlorophyll, folic acid, vitamin C, E, bioflavonoids, calcium, iodine, iron, manganese, potassium, zinc, and sulphur. The Watercress extract restores the quantitative and qualitative balance of skin lipids, thus reducing the transepidermal loss of moisture.

Arbutin : Melanin Inhibiting, skin brightening

Tranexamic Acid : Skin Brightening
